CHURCH GIVING : A message from Rev Andy

With the suspension of services and fund-raising events, your Parish Church will feel the strain financially. If you would like to contribute you can do so online here. Please mark your contribution with CV19 and the village church you wish to contribute to (if required) and the funds will be distributed accordingly.

Alternatively for St Augustine's, cash or cheques (payable to "St Augustine's, Skirlaugh") can be posted in envelopes through Church Cottage door. Thank You!

Changes in our Methodist Circuit

There are significant changes in the Circuit. After several years with us, Revd Robert Amos retired at the end of June. We thank him for all that he did for us and wish him a long and happy retirement. On 27th June Revd Richard Teal became President of the Methodist Conference for a year and consequently his national duties will take him away from our Circuit.
In July we welcomed Revd Ron Hicks and Revd Diane Hicks from Knaresborough and in September they were joined by Deacon Jackie Fowler from Haworth.
